I don’t know what it is, but it seems like every time I glance at the shot totals, the Amerks are getting doubled and sometimes tripled up by the opponent in every game.

Why is this team so comically awful defensively? This is like watching that Doug Weight Islanders team that averaged conceding 40+ shots per game. I know they've cycled through tons of guys but this in no way acceptable for AHL level.

Guy gets the puck in front of the net 3/4 between it and the blue line. No defender bothers to close in on the guy and he is able to skate in and take a clear unobstructed shot.

Almost every single prospect is sent to the AHL to learn how to defend against professional hockey players.

Rochester is not a good defensive team. Their d corps is bad right now.

Quinn is a treat to watch. I think he will develop into a superstar in Buffalo down the road.

By down the road, you mean the next time he’s called up

Quinn drives the net with 15 seconds to go in OT and helps create a greasy goal for Jankowski.

1g 2a for Quinn for his 2nd night in a row.

Quinn thinks the game at a different level and it’s just so obvious against AHL competition. Looking forward to that same impact in the NHL very soon.

Safe to say the Amerks really miss Mule and Fitzgerald on their blue line. They’re a mess defensively.

Your comment about Quinn thinking at a higher level than his AHL peers mirrors what Granato said about Quinn on WGR. Before he got hurt when he was brought up Granato said that he had outgrown the league.
