dudacek Posted May 14, 2022 Report Posted May 14, 2022 This might be a tough one. The Sabres have drafted 13 players who have gone on to play 1,000 NHL games. Name them. Quote

Name them. 11, Housley, Andy The Chuck, Mogilny, Martin, Gare, Schoney, Soupy, Pville, Roy, Miller, that other guy and some other guy. Oh, La, La, La Pierre ... and ?? Ramsay and Ramsey. I have to get some off the list. Edited May 14, 2022 by Sabres Fan in NS Quote
dudacek Posted May 14, 2022 Report Posted May 14, 2022 Andreychuk is number 1 with 1639, followed by Housley at 1495. Perreault, Ramsay, Ramsey and Pominville are also correct. As is one of the guys you scratched out. Quote
Stads Posted May 14, 2022 Author Report Posted May 14, 2022 (edited) Did Vanek make it over 1,000? Also Turgeon? Edited May 14, 2022 by Stads Quote

Have to think about who the Sabres drafted and did not play much and then was traded and played for a 1,000 or so games. There was some Swedish guy in the 80s (I think the 80s) that played pretty well here and then was traded and had a long and steady career. WTH was his name. Will *some Swedish dude* due? Quote

Sabres Fan in NS Posted May 15, 2022 Report Posted May 15, 2022 Calle Johannsen (or something like that). I think he was the Swedish dude. Quote

Weave Posted May 15, 2022 Report Posted May 15, 2022 Doug Bodger has to be on that list. I’m guessing Zhitnick is as well. Quote

Neither were drafted by the Sabres, right? I know Bodger wasn't. Zhitnik came from Vancouver with Peca, no?? It's all a fog ... The question is 13 players drafted by the Sabres to play 1,000+ NHL games, but they don't all have to be with the Sabres. Quote

Taro T Posted May 15, 2022 Report Posted May 15, 2022 Surprised nobody's mentioned the guy that scored the most famous goal in Sabre history. Quote

dudacek Posted May 16, 2022 Report Posted May 16, 2022 Brad May is the last of the ones who make you think “Sabre” 2 left. Not Alex Mogilny, who just missed at 990. Quote
