Tokarski is all over place and is laying all over the ice.  He has been lucky tonight IMO.  He is not an NHL goaltender.

Nice scorpion save but a lot of coverage issues. Toker had no clue where the puck was.

Bryson's good when he's in front of the one-on-one. But when he's to the side and a big guy like Saad decides he's going to the net...   Bryson is basically a forward playing D at that point.

Anecdotally I feel like young d men, more than young forwards, are prone to the quick start while breaking into the league followed by a plummet back to earth

Well, yes. But he's also an AHL goalie. He makes the first one and there's no backcheck to support, and Okposo skates behind the net. If it's Hasek and Ward or Zinger or Brown is there to clean up, we all drool over it, floppiness or not.

I’m not sure Granato “don’t worry about the record” philosophy is the right one to build a winning culture.  I don’t know.  Because the dumb plays and gaffes happen at a disconcerting clip and there is no accountability.

He is not big enough.  We need a few bigger defenseman that block shots. Bryson is too similar to our other defenseman and brings nothing unique or needed.  
 

From the Blues broadcast.   The Blues forwards average 205 lbs and our defense 196.   That can be a factor in the 3rd.  In a playoff series that’s a big advantage for St Louis.

It's OK if Bryson is one of 6. But Bryson, Joker, Fitz (plays big, but look at the weight)... you're getting pushed around and run by forecheckers and wear down.

Look no further than STL. Krug is excellent. He's the small guy. The rest of them are big.

And ESPN --- what the hell! Casey Nelson is NO LONGER ON THE SABRES ROSTER!
