Believer Posted February 21, 2022 Report Posted February 21, 2022 Whoever tried the two line pass up ice with a minute left that resulted in the icing call bringing Anderson back on the ice for the face off… I’d bench the dope next game… 1 Quote

Carmel Corn Posted February 21, 2022 Report Posted February 21, 2022 (edited) Icing on the cake for the Jackets...they look like solid team that can go places. They have a solid roster even though they lost some talent as UFA (Panarin, Duchene) and Seth Jones, etc. Edited February 21, 2022 by Carmel Corn Quote
Thorner Posted February 21, 2022 Report Posted February 21, 2022 It’s a 5 game trip so hopefully up from here Quote
thewookie1 Posted February 21, 2022 Report Posted February 21, 2022 I’m almost done with Olofsson at this point. I can understand not being able to shoot; but the rest of his game has vanished. Where is the 200ft threat we saw to start the year? Rough night, unsure why the league endlessly pummels the Sabres with back to backs year after year. Mitts probably pots that last year but playing 10/51 games definitely leaves you a tad off your scoring touch. Without Dahlin our defense turns into a bunch of pure giveaway machines and lacks much of any playmaking ability. Jokiharju was the best of the rest but all of them made brain dead plays frequently 2 Quote

thewookie1 Posted February 21, 2022 Report Posted February 21, 2022 It’s good to see that even with this loss, the team looked pissed and fought to the end. 1 Quote
GASabresIUFAN Posted February 21, 2022 Report Posted February 21, 2022 Lots of reasons this game stunk; back to back games, inexperienced D, missing Dahlin, and mediocre goaltending. Anybody really think is part of the solution next season? Didn’t think so. Quote
Pimlach Posted February 21, 2022 Report Posted February 21, 2022 I was watching from a distance while cooking and entertaining. The talent is the talent and much discussed. Without Dahlin ours drops a ton. Granato needs to get more effort and consistency from everybody. This group cannot get used to this. 1 Quote

Then Granato needs to start coaching games to win… Use his practices for development… He needs to raise his expectations of the group… Be less understanding of losses like this one… 1 1 Quote
