Taro T Posted February 18, 2022 Report Posted February 18, 2022 Interesting. Mittelstadt ends up centering the defensively responsible "scoring line." Kind of expected that to be Cozens' role. And now we have a dilemna for Saturday. Wear the Mitts reverse retro or the blue RJ? Tough call. Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted February 18, 2022 Report Posted February 18, 2022 Any word on if Casey will be on the PP? Quote
woods-racer Posted February 18, 2022 Report Posted February 18, 2022 Bjork and Eakin still in? WHY? The only decent play on the Bjork line last night was by his line mates. Quote

Hoping it's not too long before he's on the 1st unit. Him, Tuch, Thompson, Krebs, & Dahlin could bring back memories of the PP that had both Eichel & O'Reilly on it. THAT was fun to watch. 1 Quote

I think part of DM's psychological revival of Skinner though is putting him on the top PP unit. I would guess that Mitts stays on the 2nd unit for a while. Quote

Though should Mittelstadt & Olofsson EVER return to close to 100%, those 2 plus Okposo could be the core of a strong 2nd unit. (Especially if Dahlin works both units.) 1 Quote

breese866 Posted February 18, 2022 Report Posted February 18, 2022 According to the above, I would substitute Jankowski for Hayden or Bjork 1 Quote

nfreeman Posted February 18, 2022 Report Posted February 18, 2022 PP2 for the end of this season: Mitts VO Quinn KO Power That's kinda interesting. 3 Quote

Norcal Posted February 18, 2022 Report Posted February 18, 2022 I'm gonna say something I've said three times already this season. Good for Casey. Hopefully he can stay healthy and start getting in on some of this development happening all around him. Kid has not gotten a fair shot to show what he can do since he hasn't played more than a couple games in a row without getting injured/reinjuring himself. Let's hope this is his time!!! Lets GO Mittsy!!!!!! 5 Quote
msw2112 Posted February 18, 2022 Report Posted February 18, 2022 Casey came on very well at the end of last season under Donny's tutelage. Let's hope he can stay healthy and show continued development. 1 Quote
French Collection Posted February 18, 2022 Report Posted February 18, 2022 Stay healthy for the rest of the season Mitts. This would provide all with a look at what he can bring next season. He can be a scoring threat that other teams will have to account for, instead of let those JAGs handle it all they want. He is probably liking Okposo on his wing as they have a Minnesota background. 1 Quote
JoeSchmoe Posted February 18, 2022 Report Posted February 18, 2022 Is Bjork-Eakin-Hayden the worst line in the National Hockey League? Quote
