DarthEbriate Posted February 16, 2022 Report Posted February 16, 2022 GOOOOOOOALOFSSON! With the cannon... nope... just the easygoing victory. Way to bail out Toker after that gaff goal, gents! 1 1 Quote

ubkev Posted February 16, 2022 Report Posted February 16, 2022 Nice game, boys. Tuch's the man. Happy for KO. A nice goal from VO, finally and then an empty netter as a reward. And Joker hitting it top shelf from 3-point land was fun. Good win. 4 Quote
bunomatic Posted February 16, 2022 Report Posted February 16, 2022 Enjoyed that one. A bit of the killer instinct at the end there by the boys but honestly when the isles tied it late I thought we were done. Dahlin continues to impress. 1 Quote
Carmel Corn Posted February 16, 2022 Report Posted February 16, 2022 That's two in a row, right? Granted it was Montreal and the Isles, but TWO in a row! 2 Quote

Pimlach Posted February 16, 2022 Report Posted February 16, 2022 Nice win. We are going to move ahead of a lot of teams next year. 1. Get some goaltending. It may be there already, but make sure if it isn’t. 2. Add Power and Quinn and anyone else willing to step up. 3. Add another key vet like Tuch. Then we will get better. 3 Quote
Thorner Posted February 16, 2022 Report Posted February 16, 2022 Told ya VO would be fine Good win 1 Quote

GoPuckYourself Posted February 16, 2022 Report Posted February 16, 2022 They look like they're having fun out there finally, That was a huge goal by Olofsson and finally gets the weight lifted with the empty netter also. Since the All star break Dahlin has looked the best I've seen him and who knows he might turn into the player he was supposed to be. Tokarski has been really bad, I never thought he was great to begin with but that goal was terrible. Tuch has really amped everyone up you can tell, just how he is with everyone out there, he seems like a natural born leader imo. Great win! 1 1 Quote
Gatorman0519 Posted February 16, 2022 Report Posted February 16, 2022 Great win. One of the better of the year. 1 Quote
Huckleberry Posted February 16, 2022 Report Posted February 16, 2022 VO was good this game, was hoping he would score. The way this team jumped on him was good to see. 2 Quote

Yes absolutely....maybe JJP too if he's ready to contribute 3. Perhaps the most important IMHO. With so much promising youth, having another high impact vet that is still in his prime could help build the critical mass needed to create a resilient new mindset and winning culture. 1 Quote
thewookie1 Posted February 16, 2022 Report Posted February 16, 2022 Great game, practically from start to finish against a team known for their structure and killing of offense. Happy that Olofsson finally threw the gorilla off his back. Dahlin making great plays in both ends, made Barzal look like a grinder on that 1v1 Cozens with 3As, Krebs with 2As Quote
Doohicksie Posted February 16, 2022 Report Posted February 16, 2022 I will say this: There is constant hate on this forum for Anders Bjork. But you know what role he plays on this team? He's Kyle Okposo on the 2019-20 Sabres. He plays wing on the shutdown line, puts in a pretty darned good defensive effort most nights. We all had hope that Bjork would be a scoring winger and he will get a few here and there, but really, he's a shutdown/PK kind of player who will occasionally chip in on a goal. 2 Quote
Curt Posted February 16, 2022 Report Posted February 16, 2022 That was a fun game. This is a pretty fun team. I also thought that Dahlin was excellent tonight. 1 1 Quote
