If Anderson could put 4-5 games together like early in the season he will be their most valuable trade piece. Florida is the really hot rumor. He has a house there, be a big favor to him if Buffalo would send him there is what I was hearing. We may trade him for a bag of pucks but Anderson may sign on another vet minimum deal in return. No he doesn't. But we haven't been very good defensively for 10 years. Dahlin is far and away our best defenseman, but him and Joker are not a good defensive pairing. He's still not going to get much faster skating wise being a few years younger. He may play faster with some more seasoning. There thousands and thousands of Darth minifigs out there in the world. I think the best bet for a steady defensive right-handed defenseman is a veteran via trade or free agency. Any of Muel, Dahlin, or Power could all use someone with playoff experience and some veteran muscle at their side. 41 minutes ago, inkman said: Well he’s pushing 30 so I don’t think he’s gonna get faster Fitzgerald won't turn 25 until later this month and it's about the game speed slowing down for him. Tons of plays get their initial call-up, look overmatched, and then show up a year later and they can process and play at the NHL speed. Fitzgerald could do the same. However, in his first few games he's looked good and not overmatched. But when the forecheckers really start to press, he's not ready for it. Next season he could be a 6/7 guy. Jury is still out.
