Something needs to be done via their training department, strength and conditioning coaches, nutrition, how they utilize the cutting edge sports science they have access to, etc... Since 2016 they have lost the 2nd most man games to injury of any team in the NHL. When it's this consistent a problem, something is not being done properly to help minimize these constant injuries. in comparison, Bills have ranked in the bottom 5 in man games lost to injury since McDermott has been here precisely because of the focus they put on players getting the proper treatment, rest, training, etc and limiting the amount of distance they run in practice and training camp without days off for maintenance etc... Sabres clearly aren't utilizing this to their advantage. NFL is played weekly. NHL could have 4 games in a week. Not sure if you could implement the same regimens. Quote

Good point. Wonder if these are the same types of injuries players “play through” on great teams, and especially during the playoffs. 1 Quote

PerreaultForever Posted January 22, 2022 Report Posted January 22, 2022 I said it in the game thread, he has the body of a child. Guy has skills but he needs to beef up and bulk up badly or this sort of thing will ruin him . 1 Quote

LGR4GM Posted February 8, 2022 Author Report Posted February 8, 2022 If my math is correct we are in week 3 of Jack Quinn's recovery, so with crossed fingers we get him back next week. Quote

LGR4GM Posted February 11, 2022 Author Report Posted February 11, 2022 Cozens desperately needs someone on his line of Quinn's quality. Every time Bjork gets the puck in the offensive zone, it goes back the other way. 1 Quote
