Indabuff Posted January 18, 2022 Report Posted January 18, 2022 More slacking tomfoolery. Game 2nite. Quote
Mustache of God Posted January 18, 2022 Report Posted January 18, 2022 I think the most surprising stat of the season so far is that despite only winning 6 of the last 31 games, the Sabres are somehow sitting in 28th place and that there are 4 teams worse than them. Ottowa being one of these teams. Expect a real stink-fest tonight. Quote
Spoonman Posted January 18, 2022 Report Posted January 18, 2022 I totally missed this on my calendar! Zamboni Posted January 18, 2022 Report Posted January 18, 2022 • This is the first of four meetings between the Sabres and Senators this season. • Last meeting: Ottawa defeated Buffalo 7-4 in Ottawa on Feb. 18, 2020. • Next meeting: Tuesday, Jan. 25 in Ottawa. • The Sabres are 4-6-0 in their last 10 games against the Senators; 4-4-2 on the road. • This is the 146th game all-time between Buffalo and Ottawa; Buffalo has a 70-55-20 series record. • The Sabres are 31-31-12 on the road against the Senators all-time. 2 Quote

dudacek Posted January 18, 2022 Report Posted January 18, 2022 Here's something unexpected: Thompson, Okposo, Girgensons, Tuch, Murray, Jankowski, Hayden, Dahlin, Samuelsson, Hagg. That's more than half a lineup at 210ish or more. Quietly the Sabres have become kinda big. 1 Quote

nfreeman Posted January 18, 2022 Report Posted January 18, 2022 Are fans allowed to attend in Ontario these days? Quote
SABRES 0311 Posted January 18, 2022 Report Posted January 18, 2022 Three teams I find the least interesting to play against are Ottawa, Florida and New Jersey. They just seem so boring to me. I don’t know why. Quote

PerreaultForever Posted January 18, 2022 Report Posted January 18, 2022 Battle of the tear it down and rebuilders. Perhaps a contrast in approach but otherwise basically in exactly the same spot. Might actually be entertaining as a result. 1 hour ago, dudacek said: Here's something unexpected: Thompson, Okposo, Girgensons, Tuch, Murray, Jankowski, Hayden, Dahlin, Samuelsson, Hagg. So do the rest of them with the exception of Hayden maybe. Tage plays bigger than he did, but it's more reactive than assertive. Murray gets in front but maybe if he threw a body check once in a while he might develop into a player who could actually stick and become valuable. We don't hit anybody almost ever. Quote
