DarthEbriate Posted January 16, 2022 Report Posted January 16, 2022 (edited) Nedeljkovic has looked scary handling the puck tonight. Hopefully there's a fortuitous bounce for the Sabres off him... then directly leading to a Sabres goal in an empty net. Edited January 16, 2022 by DarthEbriate Quote
Dreams Burn Down Posted January 16, 2022 Report Posted January 16, 2022 If it's true that we're a year behind the Red Wings, I wouldn't mind the Sabres looking like that next season. 1 Quote
Carmel Corn Posted January 16, 2022 Report Posted January 16, 2022 Hell of a pass by Bertuzzi there.....dammit Quote
Dreams Burn Down Posted January 16, 2022 Report Posted January 16, 2022 We're pitiful down low defensively thus far.Ā It's far too easy for them. 1 1 Quote
Doohicksie Posted January 16, 2022 Report Posted January 16, 2022 Pooper... again... I thought their PP was supposed to suck.Ā Except for against us I guess.Ā Time to enjoy the Bills win. Quote

DarthEbriate Posted January 16, 2022 Report Posted January 16, 2022 Some exhausted PKers at the end, and Bertuzzi with a good pass for the goal. Quote

Believer Posted January 16, 2022 Report Posted January 16, 2022 22-6 SOGā¦ Sabres continue to pass up open shots for a pass that failsā¦ Confoundingā¦ 1 Quote
DarthEbriate Posted January 16, 2022 Report Posted January 16, 2022 Overall getting outskated. Dahlin skating twice up the boards on the PK leads to two 2-on-1 (wow, poor syntax choice for clarity, but I'm leaving it for the fun) PP goals down low for the Wings. Each stretch pass ends up an icing. Dell with juicy rebounds. The anti-Nashville game. 1 1 Quote

DarthEbriate Posted January 16, 2022 Report Posted January 16, 2022 I would liked to have seen Skinner-Cozens-Tuch (which looked decent vs. Nashville) and reunited Asplund-Thompson-Olofsson (pre-season/opening night lineup) now that Tuch and Thompson are both healthy. However, it's been noted that Thompson has been the lone center to unlock Skinner recently. 1 Quote
DarthEbriate Posted January 16, 2022 Report Posted January 16, 2022 Larkin --- he's too tall for your reach! Ended up kicking Tage's foot out for the trip. Gotta get the power play going. Quote

DarthEbriate Posted January 16, 2022 Report Posted January 16, 2022 I'd feel better about the Detroit parade to the penalty box if the Sabres could even properly enter the zone on the PP tonight. Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted January 16, 2022 Report Posted January 16, 2022 Need Mittelstadt or Krebs back on the pp ...and a healthy OlofssonĀ Quote
Dreams Burn Down Posted January 16, 2022 Report Posted January 16, 2022 What a pass by Dahlin to Hayden.Ā I wish that he could have cashed that in. Quote

Kristian Posted January 16, 2022 Report Posted January 16, 2022 Tuned in, down 2-0, heavily outshot and saw 2 minutes worth of possible bodyplays in the o-zone passed up for lame stickswiping. Sorry, no thanks. My time is better spent elsewhere. 1 Quote
woods-racer Posted January 16, 2022 Report Posted January 16, 2022 When Jankowski and Hayden have some of the best offensive zone time in the period ... The rest of our *skilled* players are slacking. 2 Quote
