Sabres Fan in NS Posted January 1, 2022 Report Posted January 1, 2022 I don't care about the SOG. The Sabres sometimes win that contest. Only thing that matters is the 1 - 0. GO SABRES!! Good job making us all proud @PromoTheRobot. If you end up arrested for whatever reason, we never seen you before. 1 1 Quote
Norcal Posted January 1, 2022 Report Posted January 1, 2022 I hope not. He's fine mostly but I want more. I need to feel some emotion from my announcers once in a while and some excitement when it's called for. Also. Less excitement on the opponents goals. I hate that. Quote

They are not in the building. I’m well aware of that. What about the five seasons when Dunleavy WAS doing it live from the venue? He’s been horrible since day one, regardless. Quote

DarthEbriate Posted January 1, 2022 Report Posted January 1, 2022 Boston was waking up in the latter half of the 1st. Now they'll elevate their game and the Sabres need to respond. Should be fun to see. Quote

While I’m just some jag off watching the games on tv, I’m totally fine with interference by a teammate when defenseman are retrieving the puck in their own zone below the goal line. Interference by a teammate gives them time to not get murdered by a forechecker bearing down on them. But anything in the neutral zone or above the goal line in the offensive zone needs to be called. NHL officiating is awful. 2 Quote

Norcal Posted January 1, 2022 Report Posted January 1, 2022 I like Dan Dunleavy as a person and he is,by all accounts, a good guy and person so I feel bad bagging on his play by play sometimes. Maybe I'm being unfair because of being spoiled with Ted Darling and RJ my whole life? Those two are tough acts to follow and i'm sure he's doing his best. Quote

Just keep reaching. Then, reach even further until you're off balance and no longer in good position and trip up on the experience. 1 Quote

Spoonman Posted January 1, 2022 Report Posted January 1, 2022 Good PK x3 today. No more stupid penalties. Quote

He's also doing play-by-play from Buffalo on a TV screen. The road announcers are tough around the league. But yes... his call of the game even at home is a little lackluster. Quote
Thorner Posted January 1, 2022 Report Posted January 1, 2022 Luukkonen's size gives him such an advantage. Guys like Levi have to be ridiculous athletes with incredible timing to find themselves on similar trajectories 2 Quote

Doohicksie Posted January 1, 2022 Author Report Posted January 1, 2022 Note that goal for Boston comes just after the non-tripping call when they pulled Butcher down. I hate the refs. Quote
