Not a horrible thing considering our injuries and the Olympics-void will go away. Would like to get as many players back as possible.

COVID isn't going to vanish anytime soon and they'll need to just deal with it.

They're probably working that behind the scenes.  This is akin to a "corporate reorganization" and when those happen they're rarely announced until the details are all laid flat.

Unfortunately, this looks like just the beginning.  I know that it's out of necessity, but I'm mildly surprised that the NHL seems to be taking the lead on this.

It's going to get much worse before it gets better.  This could even shorten the season (substantially) or flat out kill it, depending on how things go.

All these football players in huddles, sitting next to each other on the sidelines and face to face at the line of scrimmage.  Somehow they seem to be ok but hockey players go into COVID protocol like its cool.

Yeah I think NHL is working on bringing taxi squads back, trading for Subban just became a stroke of luck.
