Not sure if that was the the play, but even if it was, imagine that, a Sabres goalie covering for the skaters.

It would be his third small gaff playing on the power play giving up 3 break-aways in 2 games. No small feat for any goalie to handle, no?

No. Our goalies are really bad.

The play led to a routine stop. But because it’s us, it felt like a RJ call the cops highlight reel stop.

They are really bad.

But our defense is just as bad. Especially our defense-men. Our goalies are not pre-ordained to be special and 1st round picks. One is more acceptable to be bad than the other.

To quote a great man, Dahlin will be fine.

The odd's are he will at least be good. Many where hoping and expecting for much more. I'm not done hoping, but I will not gloss over his poor play either.

Why 72?  Why not start at the beginning -  1970?

Step one - get a goalie.  The first Sabre was actually not Gil Perreault, it was Joe Daley, a goalie. But they didn’t settle with a good back up.   The first trade was Tom Webster, their first pick in the expansion draft, for Roger Crozier.  A goalie. A real, decorated, official, NHL goalie.   How about that.

If you building from bottom up then get some goalies first.  Give your team a chance.

Simple.

OK--sounds reasonable to me.......I assume next step is tough, solid 2 way players who are vets and know how to win. Sprinkle in some flashier goal scorers as the opportunity comes hope.

He’s a good kid.. caught a few of his pressers and he has the right mentality.  He needs to be coached up, tighten a few things like his play at the point.  I like the Jankowski acquisition as well.  He played well and has some size.  Much needed.

Tory Krug says hello. Bryson just isn't that good of a player.

Well, that's my point. At his size he better be Tory Krug-esque and he sure ain't.
