It would be his third small gaff playing on the power play giving up 3 break-aways in 2 games. No small feat for any goalie to handle, no? Quote

Our goalies are not pre-ordained to be special and 1st round picks. One is more acceptable to be bad than the other. Quote

The first Sabre was actually not Gil Perreault, it was Joe Daley, a goalie. But they didn’t settle with a good back up. The first trade was Tom Webster, their first pick in the expansion draft, for Roger Crozier. A goalie. A real, decorated, official, NHL goalie. How about that. If you building from bottom up then get some goalies first. Give your team a chance. Simple. OK--sounds reasonable to me.......I assume next step is tough, solid 2 way players who are vets and know how to win. Sprinkle in some flashier goal scorers as the opportunity comes hope. Quote

He’s a good kid.. caught a few of his pressers and he has the right mentality. He needs to be coached up, tighten a few things like his play at the point. I like the Jankowski acquisition as well. He played well and has some size. Much needed. 2 Quote
