Eleven Posted November 21, 2021 Report Posted November 21, 2021 Five games in seven days beginning today. 1 Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted November 21, 2021 Report Posted November 21, 2021 The seven days battles! https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_Days_Battles Hope we do do better than McClellan and the Union army did then. Rangers are tough Quote
Gatorman0519 Posted November 21, 2021 Report Posted November 21, 2021 I don’t suspect this will end well unless we have another goalie miracle and we play good in our own end. NY is really talented. Quote

NY is really talented. They have a -1 goal differential and are a mediocre team. They have better goaltending than us but I fully expect Buffalo to over take the rangers in talent by next year. Their prospect pool and gm are meh. Quote
Brawndo Posted November 21, 2021 Report Posted November 21, 2021 One minor detail, the game will be on The Bet 1520AM because of Bills Post Game Coverage on WGR 1 2 Quote
Zamboni Posted November 21, 2021 Report Posted November 21, 2021 Not feeling very optimistic here … Ranger … 5 Sabres … 2 Okposo, Bjork, or Dahlin with a goal Quote

At forward Hinostra with Tuch, Bjork Ruots Hayden with Peterka Krebs Quinn. That's what we're looking at in April and September. 3 Quote

Should you use the word skill instead of talent? Is talent potential skill? It strikes me that you're hung up on talent, which doesn't always mean anything. Skill, however... 2 Quote

Pimlach Posted November 21, 2021 Report Posted November 21, 2021 I am hoping for one of those rare Bills and Sabres same Sunday wins. It’s only happened a few times unfortunately. 2 Quote

Skill: the ability to do something that comes from training, experience, or practice Talent: a special often athletic, creative, or artistic aptitude Without the talent you’ll never achieve the skill. If you look at the literal definitions, I think LGR has it right. The Sabres are a skilled team that is held back by its talent. But I could see the other way, as well. WORDS!!! (I actually find them way more interesting than a game against the Rangers.) 2 Quote

French Collection Posted November 21, 2021 Report Posted November 21, 2021 Sabres need to be puck hounds and get some PP mojo back to take this game. Oh, and the goalie cannot be holey. Lets go Buffalo. 2 Quote
Digger Posted November 21, 2021 Report Posted November 21, 2021 I predict the Sabres will win tonight. 5-4. Granato will have them ready after the Calgary performance. He's had the time to prepare the guys for this game. We surprised the Oilers when we played them and won (again there was lots of prep time ahead of that game too). Let's see how the game plays out. 1 Quote
