Easiest prediction ever.

The question is is it too soon for us to call the Sabres a good team though.

Not at ***** all. Same garbage. More effort, but same results with Swiss cheese as your goalies. This organization never learns.

Take Tokarski out… Team not playing in front of him… Calgary buzzing…

Teams not even in this game. Well their heads are certainly not in it. Did they all come down with mono ? My gawd they look bad. Anyhoo. Not seeing much effort.

Even their point shots are dangerous. I don't know that we've had a scoring chance where the goalie actually had to make a save. Cozens had one shot, but put it high and wide.

Jiminy! Who is on the PP?

Tonight... I feel the good in you, the compete.

There is no compete. (tonight)

Ok.  We haven’t lost big yet this season.  I don’t mean to sound cliche, but If I’m the coach going into the locker room I’m thinking of my “win the 3rd period” lecture.

Calgary is a good team in good form. Not sure what people expected.

Not getting dominated the entire game. But these Flames are the best team we've faced. So...

Roger Allan Crozier (March 16, 1942 – January 11, 1996) was a Canadianprofessional ice hockey goaltender who played fourteen seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Detroit Red Wings, Buffalo Sabres and Washington Capitals. During his career, Crozier was named to the NHL First All-Star Team once, was a Calder Memorial Trophy winner, and was the first player to win the Conn Smythe Trophy while playing for the losing team in the Stanley Cup Finals. He was the last goaltender in the NHL to start all of his team's games in the regular season, in 1964–65.

Showing my man Roger Crozier, #1.  He really helped us build a team.

We also had Joe Daley and Dave Dryden as backups those first few seasons.   We didn’t lose because of goaltending.

If they had utilized the Dryballs "stand set and deliver" mindset, they would have at least made themselves "hard to play against"... I like how they're progressing with  the rebuild but tonight is when you find out who has a little snarl in their game. ... You don't have to fight but ya gotta muscle up.
