Team size

I was checking the Amerks game tonight against the 10-0 Utica Comets.  And I saw their farm team was the NJ Devils, who also has been winning lately.

Anyways,  I checked out Utica's roster and could not believe the size of the Devils prospects.

This last NHL draft  the Sabres size average is around 165-175.  Why do we always go in that direction ?

A little more size and toughness would do wonders.

Average weight of Sabres 2021 draft picks was 180lbs and they drafted 5 players who are 6’2”+.

And the majority of them will add 15-20 pounds before they get to the NHL.

Yes, we might be trending in the right direction but to this point he's not wrong. We do need to get bigger.
