3rd period. Both teams played last night.  Sabres can do this but they have to work like crazy, shoot the puck more, and keep the SOG’s to a minimum.

Thoughts after 2:

Hagg, if you are going to lay down on the ice, actually lay down on the ice.

Okposo has looked sharp.

Maybe in the end it’s “just” a solid 3C on a good team, but Thompson is definitely something.  He just takes up so much space out there, his wingspan disrupts the other team, he has cut out almost all the super awkward stuff he used to do, and he has that shot.

I like Bryson.

I think R2 needs better line mates.

Sabres have done a good job of shutting Toronto down.

Leafs suck.
