I think @darksabre said it awhile ago, but it's easy to understand the fan mentality. We're stuck with the Sabres, of course we don't want them to be the bad guy. But they're not blameless in this at all, and throwing everything at Jack as a scapegoat for the Sabres decade of ineptitude is just poor.

Does “understated” = “isn’t going to say *****”?   Cuz this is what I expected from him.  He wasn’t going to bash anyone.  He got what he wanted.

Can you point me to any of those posts saying Eichel wasn’t gonna say ****? Earlier, I wondered where his reciprocal tweet to the Sabres good luck tweet was and I’m glad he got around to sending this message.
