The 2023 draft could be absurd. There will be at least 2 extremely high end talents in that draft plus it should feature plenty of high end depth into round 3.

So we're playing for 2025 now? just enough time when we sour on Cozens and Dahlin.

That's not what I said. It is very clearly not what I said.

what does that mean?

It means that the first round pick has a bit of a condition on it in that if it's top 10 it will not go to the Sabres.  It is very unlikely that Vegas will be picking in the top 10 next draft.  They will be a playoff team and will likely go pretty far in the playoff again this year.  There is a chance that this could be a problem.  Not a big chance.

The second point means that the Sabres are not agreeing to pay part of John's salary for the remainder of his contract.  That's a good point.

I was hoping he got traded to another crap team so he could be in the same garbage position he was in buffalo

Here to hoping he picks up a gambling problem

I'm just saying if we're looking towards the 2023 draft those kids might be in the NHL by 2025. I'm glad the saga is over but man this year isn't looking good after the bright start. As so far for Eichel and Reinhart we've gotten no NHL players back which to me maddening but maybe there is hope.

I like forward to every draft. I am looking forward to the 2022 draft.

We did get an NHL player back for Eichel. Krebs and Tuch are NHL players.

Depends where he is I would think.  If he's in Vegas he could get to Seattle easily.  If he is somewhere else, probably.

Krebs is in Ottawa.

Well, none except Tuch, who's broken at present.

And Krebs will likely stick with this roster, too.  So, he's kind of an NHLer; but realize you meant established NHLers.

This is a pretty pathetic take.

Let’s wait to see if Granato can work his magic on him.

I like that a lot.

You know, I’d have preferred we let him get his surgery in the off-season.

That said, Krebs is young and talented. Tuch is a solid player. Speed and size. I like what both will bring. And the first helps. No idea how good Vegas will be but we have two firsts in 2022 (or 2023) right now so we need to do something there.

I also like that we are already a team with some speed and we just got faster. And will eventually be deeper.

Tuch had his surgery the last week of July (reported July 30) and the report was this is a known hockey injury with a full recovery. That means he should be back in early February if all goes well. If Buffalo actually stays in contention for the playoffs, Tuch could be a fantastic addition.

Glad it is over and look forward to the future with these new guys. Key will be playing together as a ‘team’.

The question for me is how is Krebs used? I would like to see him at centre with Cozens shifted to his RW.

Play Tuch with Mitts when he is back in the new year.

Skinner Mitts Tuch

Asplund Tage Olofsson

Vinnie Krebs Cozens

Girgs Eakin Okposo
