I think we have room for a talented center right now.  At least try him out.  Honestly I think it's more likely they send Cozens down.

Krebs in the NHL: 13 gp, 1 pt

Cozens in the NHL: 50 gp, 17 pt.

Cozens will not get sent down in favor of Krebs

Well his career may never be the same and I just keep going back to that.

The fact this isn't discussed enough is mind boggling to me.

I mean the first years of Eichel, before last year. I have no doubt the uncertainty of what he will be going forward.

I think Krebs plays.  When Casey returns a decision will be made.

Corey Pronman: Krebs is a well-rounded forward prospect. He’s a very skilled and creative playmaker who can make tough passes consistently but has historically had finishing issues. He’s not that big, but he skates well and competes hard, allowing him to possibly play the center position in the NHL and be a solid two-way pro. He projects to be a quality top-six forward. He gives Buffalo center options now as to how to deploy him, Dylan Cozens and Casey Mittelstadt.

Tuch is a forward with size and excellent skating ability who can create a lot of offense with his speed, hands and hockey sense with a decent compete level. I don’t know if the pure offense rises to star caliber, but he has almost everything you want in an NHL player and if healthy he could be a legitimate top-line forward for Buffalo, likely on the wing even though he’s dabbled at center.

Pronman hates anyone who isn't Tuch's size and says "he's not that big" crap. 5'11" 190lbs is pretty solid.

I was very adamant over the last few months that the Sabres were not getting a high end prospect(Byfield, Zegras, Krebs, etc…) in a trade package for John.

I WAS WRONG.

Young fella on Hockeybuzz who seems to me to be astute on talent thinks Krebs is a special talent; compares him to Danny B. If he turns out anything like Briere, this is a win.

And now I don't have to worry about Buffalonil exploding.

I'm really surprised there are no conditions in this trade regarding Eichel's health over the remaining length of the contract.

Vegas must be really confident in his ability to recover from whichever surgery it is that he is going to get....

They're not altering the deal. They can pray they don't wish they'd altered the deal further.

From now until Christmas, the Sabres should offer every fan who goes to a game a free one to one player swap for any authentic Eichel jerseys.

You should tweet that to the Sabres. If they hadn't thought of it yet it would be a good move.

Cozens could even move to wing.   You really want to send him down though, that is obvious.

It solves a lot of problems.

It puts fannies in the seats, it’s goodwill towards the fan base, it helps scrub away recent failures by  reducing his presence during the game day experience…

He's been in the hospital for the past 6 months on a bed waiting for the ok lol

If you listen to Vogl and Lehner that's what it sounds like.
