Gatorman0519 Posted October 31, 2021 Report Posted October 31, 2021 The Sabres look disinterested this 3rd period. Once again we blow a lead and our attack and aggressiveness vanished down the stretch. Quote

thewookie1 Posted October 31, 2021 Report Posted October 31, 2021 We just have so much trouble against bulkier teams 2 Quote

Gatorman0519 Posted October 31, 2021 Report Posted October 31, 2021 Too many dumb penalties today. That one will seal the deal. The good news is the young guns looking real good in Rochester. 3 Quote
Norcal Posted October 31, 2021 Author Report Posted October 31, 2021 Thompson had it on his stick 1 1 Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted October 31, 2021 Report Posted October 31, 2021 They seem to be losing that edge. Are they tired or are teams figuring out how to play the Sabres? 3 Quote

Radar Posted October 31, 2021 Report Posted October 31, 2021 Boy this was the one I thought we needed to go .500 on this road trip. 1 Quote
bunomatic Posted October 31, 2021 Report Posted October 31, 2021 Didn’t like the call on Miller that led to the tying goal. 3 1 Quote

SwampD Posted October 31, 2021 Report Posted October 31, 2021 (edited) Unlike the Bills, who can play “poorly” and still win, the Sabres don’t have that luxury. Especially when officials call what they think they see and not what they actually saw. How did Lemieux not get an extra 2 on that fight? He’s punching him while Dylan still has his gloves on. Even the refs were disinterested in this game. Edited October 31, 2021 by SwampD 5 Quote
GASabresIUFAN Posted October 31, 2021 Report Posted October 31, 2021 Good lesson to the guys that if they don’t compete they’ll lose. Still we clearly miss Mitts, Joki and Eakin. 2 Quote
DarthKirby Posted October 31, 2021 Report Posted October 31, 2021 The call on miller that lead to the 2-2 goal… What was that, please someone tell me Quote

Eleven Posted October 31, 2021 Report Posted October 31, 2021 Just a few observations. 1. This team was without energy and boring. This isn't like the Boston loss. This is "hey, we won one in OT so let's not bother too hard tonight, ok, boys?" Terrible, and that's on the captains. 2. Cozens is the de facto 1C while Pullup and Attitude Problem are out. That means he can't get sucked into 5-minute majors by the likes of Lemieux. Shape up, kid. 3. Rasmus A. and Oloffson continue to punch above their weight classes. 2 Quote
