No, but I haven't paid attention to that in a while though.

Ruff will be juggling the lines from 3 minutes into the season opener, and all the way through the season anyway, so why bother?

Ruff's no. 1 rule : If a line produces - split it up, immediately.

Ruff's no. 2 rule : Put your hottest scorer with Connolly.

Ruff's no. 3 rule : Play Pyatt.

Ruff's no. 4 rule : Play Marty.

Ruff's no. 5 rule : Play Pyatt AND Marty.

Anyone know what they will be?

Forwards I feel pretty confident about. D, its pretty much a guessing game. Goalie - no f'ing clue. But here's my guess.

1st line: Vanek, Briere, Dumont

2nd line: Hecht, Drury, Afinogenov

3rd line: Kotalik, Connolly, Grier

4th line: Pyatt, Gaustad

IR: Mair, Peters

(No, I wouldn't choose to put Canoli on the 3rd line, but according to article on Sabres website, that is where he is.)

1st pair: Kalinen, McKee

2nd pair: Numminen, Lydman

3rd pair: Jillson, Fitzpatrick

Spare: Campbell

Spare spare: Tallinder

(Again, I don't think Campbell belongs in the NHL, but I expect him to dress with only 11 forwards on the roster.)

Goalie: Ryartin Leightonnen

I'm not sure of where I read it, probably the Buffalo News, but I saw Grier listed a few days ago with Drury and Hecht. As a BU fan, I like Drury and Grier on the same line.

This is how I would want the lines and I welcome anyone else to chime in with their equally worthless opinion( :P ):

Offense:

1st: Vanek, Briere, Afinogenov - Why is JP on this line? To get his usual 18 goals?

2nd: Hecht, Drury, Kotalik - Grit, two-way, a little offense

3rd: Grier, Mair, Dumont - Why not?

4th: Peters, Gaustad, Pyatt - Taylors only chance

Defense:

1st: Kalinen, Mckee

2nd: Lydman, Numminen

3rd: Jillson, Tallinder

Goal:

1st: Miller

2nd: Biron

Spare forwards: Connelly(should be Roy) Spare defenseman: Fitzpatrick, Campbell(Ugh)

You're right. Grier has been playing on the second line.
