GASabresIUFAN Posted October 26, 2021 Report Posted October 26, 2021 Sabres have scored 5 goals in 3 of 6 games. It took until game 38 last year to have 3 games with 5 or more goals (they had 6 such games all season 5 of which DG was the coach). 2 1 Quote
Norcal Posted October 26, 2021 Report Posted October 26, 2021 So now they've beaten both of the Stanley Cup finalists from last season. RJ calling normal everyday acts of these jags commercials are even better when they're winning like this. miles Posted October 26, 2021 Report Posted October 26, 2021 It looks like there are so many differences between these sabres and the past sabres In the past, everyone played weak. Nobody hit anyone. everyone waited for jack to win the game for them. The goalies gave up easy junk and caused the team to quit. I dont see that with this team. Time will tell though, i remember a long winning streak followed by a terrible rest of the season. im scare to get snake bit again 1 Quote
French Collection Posted October 26, 2021 Report Posted October 26, 2021 Tage has 2 G and 2A, same as ROR. Sabres will never win that deal unless Tage and Ryan Johnson win a Cup with Buffalo but this start puts a few grains of sand on our side of the scales. Full blown stones on the opposite side….. 3 Quote
dudacek Posted October 26, 2021 Report Posted October 26, 2021 Stamkos used his shoulder to drive his principle point of contact to the face of a defenceless opponent. Not sure why that wouldn’t be a suspension. Except Stamkos. Very reminiscent of the Kucherov cheap shot on Dahlin two years ago. Loss looks good on those arrogant *****. 7 Quote

Norcal Posted October 26, 2021 Report Posted October 26, 2021 Raddysh and Katchouk were all over on the forecheck and probably played with the most energy of anyone on the team. Probably no coincidence that they are also the bottom two on the roster and know their NHL careers hang in the balance. dudacek Posted October 26, 2021 Report Posted October 26, 2021 (edited) Am I right to think the Zemgus line got the bulk of Tampa’s top guys tonight? Hedman, Stamkos and Point had just 4 shots between them and were a combined -12. Never in a million years would I have had Mark Pysyk and Robert Hagg as a shutdown pair on my bingo card. They’ve been surprisingly good. Edited October 26, 2021 by dudacek 5 2 1 Quote
Skibum Posted October 26, 2021 Report Posted October 26, 2021 I love that they scored the first EN goal immediately after the face-off, from long distance no less. This team knows how to stick the dagger in and seal a win, which we haven't seen in 15 years around here. Up 3-1, they were still playing smart and aggressive. 3 1 Quote
Pimlach Posted October 26, 2021 Report Posted October 26, 2021 That was a great effort as one of the best Sabres games I’ve seen in awhile. Wasn’t expecting 5-1. This could really build confidence fit the road trip. 2 Quote
ubkev Posted October 26, 2021 Report Posted October 26, 2021 Well, that was fun! I started the game 2 hours late and was playing catch-up. But I left my phone off so this was a great, big, fun surprise. Awesome. 2 1 Quote

Flashsabre Posted October 26, 2021 Report Posted October 26, 2021 Who had Tage Thompson, two way Centre with 4 points in 6 games and a +2 in the pool? Developing a 6’7 two way RHC out of nothing might guarantee Donny the Jack Adams Trophy.😆 5 Quote
