No one thought they would be saying that before this season started but yes I agree because that line has been really good. 

I hate injuries but it's part of the game so hope we adapt adequately and the injured players come back strong.

Wonder if they put Asplund onto that line & then play C by committee.

Granato's been doing a good job so far of finding lines that work with a fairly narrow pool of candidates.  Hopefully he can slide the pieces around again.

I’d bet sliding Girgs to center ends up being the case.

I would doubt it.  The line with Tage, Olofsson, and Asplund has played pretty well together and I would think that they wouldn't want to mess with it.  I think Tage needs Asplund right now.  I imagine they will play Girgensons at center with Okposo and Hayden for the next game.

It’s funny and early but Eakin looks so much better so far.  Weird world we live in.

I’ve said it before but Rasputin put a weird hex on all the forwards and offensive D he coached.

Looks like it was a numbers game in Seattle for him too with Yanni Gourde coming off IR and Jarnkrok ending his COVID quarantine.

Jankowski has played C for over 200 games in the NHL, I thought he was in Rochester.

I saw a Kraken game with him in it. He didn't impress me. 

Eakin's only out for a few games I think so I would just dress Hayden on that line and move Girgs to center. Juggle lines a little during the games maybe to give more ice time to anyone having a good night but otherwise don't rock the boat until it starts leaking.

Every analytics honk JO’d 50 times the last time he hit waivers and subsequently murdered their families when the Sabres didn’t pick him up.

Jankowski is on an AHL contract, although I suppose they can change that.

I would imagine picking up either he or Barre-Boulet, or anyone else would be contingent on the length of time Casey, Vinnie and Cody are going to be out.

This is their attitude I believe and why not. Who's better than the next man up?

On this team it doesn't matter and I like that. So far. 

Eakin was going hard every shift its too bad he got hurt.

You can "wrong" all you like but my comment wasn't. I saw him and he didn't impress me. obviously didn't impress the Kraken either. Obviously not a significant sample size just saying the excitement over him being available might not be warranted.
