PerreaultForever Posted October 17, 2021 Report Posted October 17, 2021 Well I guess since the Kraken haven't waived Borgen he was the best available. Personally I would have grabbed Moore when Boston waived him instead but who knows. I don't expect much. 1 Quote
Thorner Posted October 18, 2021 Author Report Posted October 18, 2021 I was like, could that be his birth year, like me? I had forgotten - I am old now. Hockey players are young! Quote
Huckleberry Posted October 18, 2021 Report Posted October 18, 2021 He said he also played forward growing up winger and center, I think we got our new 3C 😛 Quote
Digger Posted October 18, 2021 Report Posted October 18, 2021 At least he seems to have a great personality (talks a bit like Curtis Lazar did when he was first here). Good interview and seems excited to be here. I'm looking forward to seeing how he plays. 2 Quote
Weave Posted October 18, 2021 Report Posted October 18, 2021 I love that he called the team a bunch of misfits. How appropriate. 1 Quote
SwampD Posted October 18, 2021 Report Posted October 18, 2021 Well, that’s a kid you want to make it. 4 Quote

Zamboni Posted October 18, 2021 Report Posted October 18, 2021 It’s amazing… After 51 years of existence… There are still numbers that no player has worn as a Sabre. Hope he does well. Quote
woods-racer Posted October 19, 2021 Report Posted October 19, 2021 Per an article by Jourdon LaBarber at Sabres.com "I've never lost faith, I've never lost hope in the dream staying alive," he said. "Again, when I found out I was coming to Buffalo, it was a team I think that I fit well with, a bunch of guys that want to earn it every day, want to win, want to turn things around for this city. And I want to be a part of it." He's a young defensemen looking to prove he has what it takes and seems to fit the GMKA player mentality. Hard not to root for him. 1 Quote
