Eichel traded by Christmas.

I'm not going to predict a bunch of things, sorry GA.

All I will say is this group of Sabres will surprise a lot of people, including many of the fans. They will play hard and will give a good effort every night.  They won't win enough to make the playoffs, but they will win a lot.

You are only looking at a sliver, when it’s a whole that you should be getting into.

How did I do?

1) Leading scorers - Goals, Assists and Points
Skinner - 32/18/50 - pretty close
Olofsson - 26/20/46 - If he'd stayed healthy, maybe.  He's on an 82-game pace for 20/27/47.
Mitts- 24/30/54 - If he'd stayed healthy....

2) Team record
41-33-9 for 91 points.... just missing the playoffs - Yes, Optimism is my middle name

3) Team MVP
Mitts - Nope.... Tage or Dahlin would have been better choices, possibly Anderson

4) Team ROY
JJP - Nope... Muel in my opinion.

5) First Player traded
Eichel (okay, after him Miller)... I was half right.

6) First player recalled from Rochester
JJP - Who was the first callup?  I don't remember... EDIT:  Murray

7) Surprising in season move (trade or acquistion)
The NHL debut of Devon Levi - incomplete.  Could still happen

8.) Best surprise player
Tage Thompson - Bingo.  Although Dahlin has also been a pleasant surprise

9) Biggest disappointment
Dahlin... he will be okay but not great which will make the fans furious. - So glad to be wrong here.  I would say that Dell is probably the biggest disappointment but it was probably wrong to expect anything from him.

Not much.

I got Murray being 1st recall correct.

I had Dahlin as my team MVP and having 45 assists this season.  Got the MVP right and still have a chance on the assists.

Sabres need another 6 wins to match my predicted win total.

I said KA would acquire a goalie because Anderson got hurt and UPL and Dell were struggling.

I said Bryson would out perform Butcher (which he has), but I thought (hoped) Ka would trade Butcher away because of it.

I complete blew it on Hagg, R2, JJP, Mitts and Cozens, although JJP has carried the Amerks at times this season.

I never saw Thompson's season coming.

Also KA did much better in the trade for Jack then I thought.  I had Jack going for a conditional 1st, a medium prospect, a 2nd conditional pick and a cap dump.  I got the picks mostly right, but Krebs is a grade A prospect and the predicted cap dump instead became a top 6 forward in Tuch.

4) ROY-R2

6) First Recall-Murray

7) Surprising in season move-Aquisition in Eichel trade joins lineup and provides instant spark

8.) Best surprise player-Asplund

9) Biggest disappointment-Cozens

5 or more guys will score atleast 15 goals

I hit on the few that are bolded.

Tuch, and to a lesser extent Krebs have provided a definite spark.

I'm a few goals away from 2 players to reach my 5 players with 15 goals prediction.

Dahlin could still reach 47 assists.

He started out hot AF but fizzled to pop gun status after that

Good thing he's solid defensively.
