Said it once before in a deleted thread, so will repeat.

Glad to see that Granato & Adams aren't foolish enough nor stubborn enough to keep him up when Tokarski has significantly outplayed him.  That is almost as encouraging a sign as only bringing in Anderson & Dell was discouraging.

Now you we pretty high on Dell when we signed him.  I was hoping you were correct.

Yes, can't believe how bad he's looked.   Not just on goals, but saves too.

^This.

Two alternate ways to spin this:

1. Good on GM Sheevyn to sign Dell to a deal commensurate with his value. Prior GMs would've brought in Dell on $1.5M/2 year deal because they liked him from when drafted or was in their system, etc.

2. Dell showed by his play that he didn't want to be here in Hockey Heaven.

With all of the ***** we have to wade through with the Sabres, it is gratifying when we see personnel decisions that actually seem to reflect what we've been seeing with our eyes and not have to conjecture our way through what might really be going here.

True.

And 1 thing that is good about Adams is he is willing to switch gears when something he tried doesn't work.  The bad thing is there have been a seeming ton of moves that he's had to admit didn't work out.

In any of the years since the tank (besides this), Dell plays at least half a season, no matter how bad he was. Tokarski the career AHL'er would get no shot.

Thankfully, the days of playing vets just because they're vets seem to be behind us.

Well the other upside is I'm watching the Caps Bruins and Ullmark is sucking again. At this point I bet they're wishing they could give him back.

And @MODO Hockey is probably on their forums telling them how great Ullmark is and how great Phat Pannies taste.

The good side is that Toker has actually looked..... well.... okay?

At the Ducks/Kings game right now.  Stolarz looks very very good, sick mask too.
