Niagara Falls native Adam Clendening was waived. He is still only 28. I wouldn't mind signing him for D leadership in Rochester with a chance for an NHL callup. Unfortunately, outside of Axl Rose Foley, the Sabres aren’t going to pick anyone up. Even when this team was in its darkest hour (probably still are), they barely seem interested in taking a flyer on anyone. 1 Quote

PerreaultForever Posted October 10, 2021 Report Posted October 10, 2021 Chris Wagner and John Moore waived by Bruins. Wagner is well past his prime and neither would change the fortunes of this team in any significant way but we could still use them, especially Moore. Quote

Norcal Posted October 10, 2021 Report Posted October 10, 2021 Get him now Barré-Boulet and Raddysh were noticeable in the AHL last season. Raddysh stuck in Tampa for now. 1 Quote
thewookie1 Posted October 10, 2021 Report Posted October 10, 2021 Go get Barre KA, and maybe Subban too Quote

He's still 24 and the roster is far from set for the future right now. I'd kick his tires. 2 Quote
Mustache of God Posted October 10, 2021 Report Posted October 10, 2021 The sabres waiving Axel means there's a good possibility we claim this guy? It's cutthroat but I like it. Quote
Brawndo Posted October 10, 2021 Report Posted October 10, 2021 They had Mitts, Cozens, Tage and Eakin playing center yesterday. He’s an improvement over two of those. Quote

Waiver transactions are processed by the league office at noon & teams have 24 hours after that to put in a claim. So, technically if the Bolts waived him after 12 noon, teams would get nearly a full 2nd day to make a claim. Quote

Norcal Posted October 11, 2021 Report Posted October 11, 2021 The Bills are coming off a statement win against one of the premier teams in the NFL on a Sunday Night and I'm sitting here hoping/waiting on a waiver wire claim for a F whose team let him go for nothing. Priorities? Quote
