There is a lot of speed up front in that lineup. Bjork Girgs and Hinostoza will cause headaches with their wheels.

Weissbach should be player of the game.  Peterka and Quinn looked good too.  I hope Murray makes it. They are desperate for his size.

Nice battle and compete to pull a victory from defeat.

If Peterka finishes camp on par with Bjork and Hinostoza does he go down to get better in the AHL, or does he sink or swim in the big league?

I think he goes down.  He'll be an early injury callup though.

Down 4-1 in the second.  Trying to feel their way early, not good chemistry, just trying to get their legs.  When Mersch scored they started playing to win (or at least tie).  They need to build on that third period.

Peterka and Weissbach were very good.  They probably both start in Rochester but they'll be NHLers by the end of the season imo.

Weissbach is going to be fun to watch. He has some Holzinger and Max in him, his wheels will create a ton of chances and he won’t connect on as many as everybody hopes.😀

I vote sink or swim. I’m not sold that every young player needs development in the A. Peterka strikes me as the kind who is up for the challenge.

Wouldn’t hate the Peterka Cozens Quinn line to start the season.  Let JJ and Jack get a few games in before spending some time in Rochester

Thoughts on this preseason game

Weissbach did pretty well for only 10 minutes of ice time.  Coaches in Wis (Tony Granato) thought he turned a corner last year.  I can see why.  

Dell is exactly what I thought he was..... terrible.  Please dump him KA.

JJP is going to be a star in this league sooner then later. 

Great shootout goal by Quinn.

If camp ended today, Murray would make the Sabres.

So far, if camp ended after every day of camp, Murray makes the Sabres.  He's done nothing this year other than to show he belongs every chance he's gotten.
