I guess Disco Dan is finding his level.

If Kim and Kanye have another kid, Sabres West would be a great name option.

Unfortunately, in other very shocking news....Kim and Kanye West have split up. I'm so shocked this happened. Who's next on that skanks list???

Meh. They could still get back together and have a Sabres West.

Bylsma lead a post tank team led by Chad Johnson, Josh Gorges, Cody Franson and rookie Jack Eichel to 81 points, the most points by a Sabres team in the last 10 years.

But yeah, let's throw him under the bus because whatever.

It wasn’t a great team by any stretch, but you didn’t list many of the best or most featured players from that team.  ROR, Kane, good Okposo, Reinhart, Gionta, Ristolainen, Bogosian.

It's because 81 points seemed so bad at the time, still. Expectations were higher.

We're merely frogs in boiling water and have been that way for a while

This was also Pysyk's breakout year so there is that too 😁

Wow, talk about revisionist history on this site. Kane, Okposo, Reinhart, Risto and Bogo were good???

Okposo wasn't on that team.    Kane missed 20 games.    Risto and Bogo were a combined -32.  Gionta had a whopping 12 goals.

It could also be argued that season was the last time we had a viable center spine where each player was a) an NHL-caliber center at the time, and b) playing in the right place for their development. 1-ROR, 2-Eichel, 3-Larsson, 4-Legwand. XHCDDB also put an end to the charade of Girgs at center over Angry Larry -- who would turn into a capable 4C the next few seasons when his wrist wasn't mangled.

If I had to choose a coach from our recent carousel of Rolston, Nolan, Bylsma, Housely and Krueger I'd probably take....Bylsma? Actually no, I'd take Nolan.

What a string of misses. Here's hoping our next first time head coach pans out, or can at least put up .500 win %.

Lead and led in the same sentence, impressive!

I don't accept that.

I could see the Sabres finishing ahead too, I think the Kraken will be much closer to the standard expansion team than the Knights.

Gord Miller on TSN Overdrive yesterday said he didn't think the Sabres would get to 50 points, and that their target was firmly set on Wright

He said he "felt utterly sick" for the people of Buffalo lol

The pipeline keeps flowin'

Would not have minded having him back.  Good 13th F to have as, on most rosters, he can slot anywhere in the bottom 6 to fill in, & on this roster he can slot in anywhere in the bottom 9 if necessary.
