LGR4GM Posted July 29, 2021 Author Report Posted July 29, 2021 I would note that Buffalo did not have a 2022 5th round pick but got one in this deal. 1 Quote
Pimlach Posted July 29, 2021 Report Posted July 29, 2021 This is about free assets and mostly helping to keep players that need development in Rochester, then making them beat someone out to get to Buffalo. Let’s not hand jobs to the kids. 1 Quote

From an analytics perspective our team got worse losing McCabe but much better with Risto’s departure. Both Butcher and Pysyk have been generally analytics darlings and if they play out well we could have a better d than most of last season. 1 Quote

If we do the exact same things with Pysyk/Butcher that we did wth Risto/McCabe, they'd break analytics records in terms of negative outcomes 2 Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted July 29, 2021 Report Posted July 29, 2021 Be interesting to see who lands in the opening night line up. I though Sameulsson was NHL ready 1 Quote

bob_sauve28 Posted September 9, 2021 Report Posted September 9, 2021 Just a thought: Butcher does not seem like a Lindy Ruff type of player. But he really might fit with Donny G’s system pretty well 2 2 Quote
