Stads Posted July 28, 2021 Report Posted July 28, 2021 Any goalie that can finish above .500 on that mess of a team last year deserves an overpayment, especially considering we have so much money to spend to get to the floor. If the Bruins offered him ridiculous money, maybe I can understand Quote

Torpedo Forecheck Posted July 28, 2021 Report Posted July 28, 2021 Goalie better be part of the Eichel trade now 1 Quote

Zamboni Posted July 28, 2021 Report Posted July 28, 2021 Ok IMO, that’s at the high end of a fair cap hit. Touché Boston. Quote
darksabre Posted July 28, 2021 Report Posted July 28, 2021 Jesus, this one stings. That price is very reasonable. 1 1 Quote

I-90 W Posted July 28, 2021 Report Posted July 28, 2021 (edited) Terry Pegula’s money is not as green as everyone else’s at this point. What’s the point of having a billionaire for an owner if people won’t take his money. And don’t tell me at least he’s keeping them in Buffalo, that is not enough. I-90 W Posted July 28, 2021 Report Posted July 28, 2021 I’ll always be able to blame any Sabre for going to the Bruins. Quote
nfreeman Posted July 28, 2021 Report Posted July 28, 2021 KA needed to overpay to keep him and chose not to do so. Although to be fair we don't know what Ullmark would've accepted, and it might've been an outrageous number, since Ullmark was negotiating with the Sabres for the past few weeks, there almost certainly was a deal he would've taken. I'll say it again: if KA doesn't have and execute a good Plan B for goaltending, he'll be, until he proves otherwise, just the latest bozo GM that TP has handed the reins to. 2 Quote
WildCard Posted July 28, 2021 Report Posted July 28, 2021 What else is he possibly saving that money for? At this point it legitimately looks like the Pegulas 1 Quote

GASabresIUFAN Posted July 28, 2021 Report Posted July 28, 2021 Good thing KA protected UFA Ullmark in expansion instead of acquiring a goalie. Fire KA. 2 Quote
