GASabresIUFAN Posted July 28, 2021 Report Posted July 28, 2021 I like this pickup. He was a guy I looked as a possible signee who could benefit from a better opportunity. 1 Quote

GASabresIUFAN Posted July 28, 2021 Report Posted July 28, 2021 This also implies that guys like R2 and Asplund could be moving to center. Just now, dudacek said: Bjork, Caggiula, Hinostrozza... Gentlemen, we have a type. Short and needing an opportunity Quote

Asked this in the other thread, but it'll probably get lost there. They swapped to royal blue from navy last year. Is the next color change to "smurf blue?" 1 1 Quote

Another option at C I guess, or wing https://frozenpool.dobbersports.com/players/vinnie-hinostroza Played almost exclusively C in Arizona, more W in Chicago Won't block anyone Edited July 28, 2021 by Thorny Quote

Not the best sample but it literally couldn't be worse. Here's a good CHI perspective; https://www.secondcityhockey.com/2021/5/26/22448019/vinnie-hinostroza-chicago-blackhawks-unrestricted-free-agent-2021-nhl-free-agency-resign Sounds streaky. Low risk signing for depth. Curious what the contract may be. Quote
PerreaultForever Posted July 28, 2021 Report Posted July 28, 2021 Our philosophy is clearly draft and sign guys with big long names. They are either trying to force RJ into retirement or convince him to stay on with the opportunities for creativity, depending on how you want to look at it. 4 2 Quote

My point is you have not seen him play on a regular basis(nor have I), so why not reserve the criticism until he plays as a Sabre? 1 Quote
