Sharing these for anyone interested.

I'm finding myself looking more and more to the future since the present has been so bleak so I hope to be able to keep up with most of the young guys a little more than years past.

Nice segment.

You gotta like how he appears to be able to make plays at high speed, yet never seems to be playing the game too fast for his brain or his skill set.

From what I’ve seen of Poltapov, he has similar qualities in his game. I’ve seen less of Rosen, but he’s also described as being cut from similar cloth.

If this is the type of team Adams is building, I can get on board with that.

Novikov is gonna be fun

When I reviewed the draft this was the one guy who popped out as someone who could be a huge positive surprise.  He is already 6'4 and just turned 18 in July.

Erik Portillo is the only goalie ranked in the top 15 goalie prospects at EP Rinkside. He came in at #15.

Owen Power was ranked 10th in the top 25 prospects (Quinn was 40, Peterka 57). No other Sabres were ranked in the top 100.

So Power came in 9th on Pronman's list (along with a glowing review), and that was everyone 23 and under, and yet this is purely prospects (I think?) and he came in 10th. So lot's of variation here.

The former was so great to read, sure wish it was anyone but Corey "Mittelstadt is better than Pettersson" Pronman.

Nice goal.  It's hard not to notice Nikonov celebrating the goal with him (big boy) beside Kisakov.

Who is Nikonov?

No idea, but if you watch the video clip he's a pretty big teammate in the goal celebration.  I just thought it was noticeable for how much bigger he was than Kisakov.

Considering how promising Peterka looks, this would be a great outcome

Yes indeed. Especially with the options of Quinn, Rosen and Kisakov also in the pipeline.

That's a lot of skill off the wing.

Think he’s saying the highlight was Nikita Novikov, not Nikonov.
