Let's face it, if Eichel is traded we wouldn't have to tank but hopefully we can be competitive and entertaining which is all you can really ask for in a young team but hope for more of course.

So I read that the 2 prize UFA Buffalo wants to sign from our own is D Jake Mccabe and G Linus Ullmark, I think McCabe is going to go somewhere else but am I the only one who doesn't want Linus back on the roster next year? I thought aside from injuries that he was an average goalie and I want someone else manning the position.

IMO Ullmark is better than average, it's his rash of injuries that concern me. 

I'd be OK with him as 1A, but they desperately need a 1B behind him.... unless their goal is to tank, and if that's the case I expect them to bring Hutton back.

I guess in a perfect world Linus signs and competes for 1A and gets beat out and becomes 2A.  IMO.

I want him back but only with a 1B. Someone to play half the games at the same level.
