LGR4GM Posted July 24, 2021 Author Report Posted July 24, 2021 Biggest note is he doesn't skate well and that really holds him back according to what I am reading. Quote
Curt Posted July 24, 2021 Report Posted July 24, 2021 Another CHL guy! Some more size! Good numbers! Another wing though? Looks like his big thing might be that the skating needs work. Quote

IKnowPhysics Posted July 24, 2021 Report Posted July 24, 2021 34GP 13G 32A 45P in the Q, leading Shawinigan in assists, points. Good production. Quote
LGR4GM Posted July 24, 2021 Author Report Posted July 24, 2021 Went 2 points a night over the final 8 games... that's something. He played with 2 other first rounders so that's important to note. Quote
RVJ Posted July 24, 2021 Report Posted July 24, 2021 https://thehockeywriters.com/olivier-nadeau-2021-nhl-draft-prospect-profile/ These are players we need more of. 1 Quote
pastajoe Posted July 24, 2021 Report Posted July 24, 2021 From the highlights I like how his goals are all in the slot, not afraid to muscle into the dirty areas. Quote
Thorner Posted July 24, 2021 Report Posted July 24, 2021 Like what I read on this one for value at this spot Quote

dudacek Posted July 24, 2021 Report Posted July 24, 2021 (edited) The two CHL kids (!) both seem like attempts at 3rd liners after the 3 Russian swings for 2nd liners. I see more size and ability to play in traffic. Edited July 24, 2021 by dudacek Quote

I can't be all that thrilled with this draft unless the Eichel trade (or some random thing I can't think of right now) nets us young prospect centres, but if that does happen I'll probably really like the draft. This one is so lopsided I feel like viewing it on it's own in isolation paints a very blurry picture. Quote

sabresparaavida Posted November 27, 2021 Report Posted November 27, 2021 21 gp 13g 17a 30p, he’s producing well this year. Maybe him and bloom make good future 3rd liners? 1 Quote
JoeSchmoe Posted February 19, 2022 Report Posted February 19, 2022 Nadeau is 1.41ppg right now in the Q. It seems he would be one of our better prospects, but doesn't seem to be getting much attention. Aside for his stat sheet, does anyone have any insight on him? Quote
dudacek Posted February 19, 2022 Report Posted February 19, 2022 Smart, not that fast was the impression I got in the prospects tourney. Quote
French Collection Posted February 19, 2022 Report Posted February 19, 2022 He has good size as well but the knock on him last year was his skating. That can be worked on. He has a shot at getting a look for the AHL and take it from there. His numbers are slightly better than last year. He also plays with some of the best players in the Q, Bourque and Bourgault. They both made Team Canada so I would say he benefits from playing with them. He may be a good complimentary player. You are right that he should be getting more attention. The Q is not as highly regarded by most hockey people, unfortunately. 1 Quote
