I was wondering this too. Could he become a tough guy? Definitely sounds like a potential grinder, which is good, as all that small skill needs some to go with it.

Went 2 points a night over the final 8 games... that's something. He played with 2 other first rounders so that's important to note.

Yeah, 1st line as an 17-18 year old.

Skating can improve with hard work if that is his weakness.

I see more size and ability to play in traffic.

I can't be all that thrilled with this draft unless the Eichel trade (or some random thing I can't think of right now) nets us young prospect centres, but if that does happen I'll probably really like the draft. This one is so lopsided I feel like viewing it on it's own in isolation paints a very blurry picture.

21 gp 13g 17a 30p, he’s producing well this year. Maybe him and bloom make good future 3rd liners?

Nadeau is 1.41ppg right now in the Q. It seems he would be one of our better prospects, but doesn't seem to be getting much attention.

Aside for his stat sheet, does anyone have any insight on him?

Smart, not that fast was the impression I got in the prospects tourney.

He has good size as well but the knock on him last year was his skating. That can be worked on. He has a shot at getting a look for the AHL and take it from there.

His numbers are slightly better than last year. He also plays with some of the best players in the Q, Bourque and Bourgault. They both made Team Canada so I would say he benefits from playing with them. He may be a good complimentary player.

You are right that he should be getting more attention. The Q is not as highly regarded by most hockey people, unfortunately.
