GASabresIUFAN Posted July 24, 2021 Report Posted July 24, 2021 From my board we have had two selections from my second round in 42 Wyatt Johnson who went 23rd and 45 Tyler Boucher who went 10th overall to Ott. The more guys that teams take "off the board" the better option we'll have at 33. I'm really interested in L'Heureux to give this team more attitude. 1 Quote
Rasmus_ Posted July 24, 2021 Report Posted July 24, 2021 Simon Robertsson, Stankoven, Koivunen, is a good name. Quote

French Collection Posted July 24, 2021 Report Posted July 24, 2021 L’Heureux, Stankoven and Zellweger are guys I like. 1 Quote
GASabresIUFAN Posted July 24, 2021 Author Report Posted July 24, 2021 (edited) L'Heureux goes 27 and Olausson goes 28. Top guys left on my board Raty (15), Chibrikov (20), Pinelli (23), Robertsson (27), Stankoven (28), Toumaala (29), Dean (31) and Chayka (33) Edited July 24, 2021 by GASabresIUFAN Quote
nfreeman Posted July 24, 2021 Report Posted July 24, 2021 Well, I’ll guess they take a C at #33 unless there is someone they really like a lot at a different position. Quote

We need prospects and NHLers. I also don't think either guy is getting traded until maybe the deadline. EDIT: Friedmann proved me wrong pretty quickly. Edited July 24, 2021 by GASabresIUFAN Quote
French Collection Posted July 24, 2021 Report Posted July 24, 2021 Hard to believe Raty was ranked number 1 not that long ago. 1 Quote
GASabresIUFAN Posted July 24, 2021 Author Report Posted July 24, 2021 (edited) Just now, French Collection said: Hard to believe Raty was ranked number 1 not that long ago. Didn't really convert the "high" skill into points according to the draft coverage on ESPN2. Also McKenzie has him at 28 on his board. The NHL coverage has Raty 19 and Pinelli 20. 7+6=13 Posted July 24, 2021 Report Posted July 24, 2021 There's some good choices left and I like that we can regroup and take our time with the pick. 1 Quote
GASabresIUFAN Posted July 24, 2021 Author Report Posted July 24, 2021 Shocking picks at 31 and 32 which is great news for the Sabres. 22 minutes ago, GASabresIUFAN said: L'Heureux goes 27 and Olausson goes 28. thewookie1 Posted July 24, 2021 Report Posted July 24, 2021 Hmm, I'm seriously tempted by Raty but Pinelli might be a better pick. 1 Quote

7+6=13 Posted July 24, 2021 Report Posted July 24, 2021 Raty is the player I would like to see here. Quote
PerreaultForever Posted July 24, 2021 Report Posted July 24, 2021 We should have been more creative (like Nashville) and moved up to grab L'Heureux. For a while I was hoping he'd actually slip to us in round 2 but what can you do. I suppose I'd take a chance on Raty as most of the other better prospects are D men and another D man might drive the fanbase crazy. Quote
GASabresIUFAN Posted July 24, 2021 Author Report Posted July 24, 2021 I'll be travelling when this pick is made, can SDS or one of the Mods update the thread. Thanks Quote

Could you imagine that in the NFL? Drafting a guy at 15 with the hopes he is a good backup?? Sure some players don't pan out in the NFL but the expectation is much higher for players in the NFL in the first round than in the NHL. Quote
Gatorman0519 Posted July 24, 2021 Report Posted July 24, 2021 KA will reach for a 40 plus ranked prospect. Don’t worry. Quote
