Reinhart traded to Florida for G Devon Levi (7th rd pick in 2020) and a lottery protected 1st in 2022.

My guess it’s going to be Lundell, a 2nd this year, a 2nd next year which becomes a 1st if he re-signs or signs beyond a year, Bennett and a contract

Can’t have conditional picks based on a player re-signing again.

Goalie prospects do so, so little for me. Especially when we have Portillo and UPL. Is this guy any better/different than them?

A first rounder that won't even be picked for another year

I would be sick if that was basically it

Risto's return would be better. That doesn't make any sense

FLA's first next year is not going to be a high pick

Levi was excellent for Canada in the WJC, but he is not an “A” prospect.

Sam will get more than him and Florida’s 1st next year. 20 games of  David Savard and Nick Foligno that.

The CBA now prevents draft picks tied to contract status.

There is a lot of hand-wringing over pieces that haven't even been confirmed. It's all speculation at this point. God Lord, chill out already and see how it plays out.

Not great.

Multiple inches shorter.

All I can say, is that it had better not be.  Heponiemi is a bust, Levi is a fine asset, but not worth a ton to me in return.

my hope: Reinhart and 33 for Lundell, Levi, and FLA 2022 2nd which becomes a 1st if Reinhart re-signs.

My fear: Reinhart for Levi, FLA 2022 1st, maybe that bust finnish prospect heppawhatever.

Exactly. Just watch who says what. We each have an established pattern, whether we'll admit to it or not.

I believe what is happening is the agents for Reinhart and Levi have confirmed their clients but the official trade has yet to be cleared and at least one other party has yet to be informed.

I’m betting there’s another player involved, thus the delay. Levi and next year’s 1st could wait until the trade deadline. No need to make that deal today.

I remember being really impressed with Levi at the World Juniors in 2020.

He apparently broke Carey Price all time save % record.

*Read, not confirmed.

He was picked in the 7th round a year ago and has since played 7 hockey games

I dont even want this guy taking up value in my Reinhart trade

Saw somewhere that Buffalo only picked 2 goalies the last 6 years. They can afford a couple more in the pipeline.

I’d be happy to pick up Levi as a secondary piece in the deal, but his value is probably close to Will Borgen.

He and next year’s 1st is not the result of “a ton of interest” today in Sam.

I understand your concern. ATST, let's not forget that Victor Olofsson was a 7th round pick.
