In Powers defense he was excellent at the Worlds against pros. I know he is already better then Colin Miller

Yes he was excellent in 4 games against teams that didn't have a gameplan for him. See Tyler Myers.

I like Owen Power. He is going to be an NHL player. He will not be an NHL star but will be a 30 point 2nd pairing minute eater.

I'm listening to the interview on RDS.  I can speak and read French, but I can't interpret it by listening.  Still, the interview:

Q:  How excited are you to be drafted by the Buffalo Sabres first overall?

A:  Incredibly excited.  It is a real honor.

Q;  Are you looking forward to playing in Buffalo next year?

A:  I will play wherever they plan to play me, in Buffalo or in the CHL

Etc etc etc

The best thing Buffalo can do is send Power back to college for one more year. If they are going to get a star out of him, that's the way.

He should/will go back to college for one more year.

Have at it.

It’s easy to understand the appeal with Power. There just aren’t many 6-foot-6 defencemen who can skate quite like he does. He doesn’t make many mistakes with the puck, and he has no problem working the short-range passing game to let his teammates do the legwork in transition. He doesn’t hesitate. He has a great knack for finding space. And he has a big enough shot to credibly threaten from range. -EliteProspects 2021 NHL Draft Guide

Tyler Myers is a good skater as well

It's definitely not the 3rd pairing

The kid wasn't smart enough to put a band-aid over a chin zit.  If he makes a third pairing in the NHL, ok.

He looks like freaking Jonesey but with less attention to hygiene.
