It’s easy to understand the appeal with Power. There just aren’t many 6-foot-6 defencemen who can skate quite like he does. He doesn’t make many mistakes with the puck, and he has no problem working the short-range passing game to let his teammates do the legwork in transition. He doesn’t hesitate. He has indicated he thinks he should go back to Michigan but also said he will have that conversation with his new team first.

Disappointed. Power will be in this league a long time, 2nd pair hopefully 1st, but I feel like you can swing for the fences here and try and get Ecklund.

I would love to hear what Karmanos and Ventura think about Power. Maybe they really do like him. Would make me feel better.
