But it does make me wonder if Jeff knows Jack is leaving and we're in for a rebuild so he wants out. 1 1 Quote
grinreaper Posted July 14, 2021 Report Posted July 14, 2021 Jeff Skinner, most likely doing his team a big favor. 9 Quote
LGR4GM Posted July 14, 2021 Report Posted July 14, 2021 I would note that Skinner does not have a signing bonus until next year and that might appeal to Seattle as they get their feet wet. His 9mil in cap depending on their expansion list could be very useful against their floor. Further many of the underlying shot generating metrics and penalty drawing metrics remained even as his production cratered. 6 years though, seems like a lot. I would guess that Buffalo has something in place for Seattle to get a 5th and take Miller. 1 Quote

Brawndo Posted July 14, 2021 Author Report Posted July 14, 2021 Major props to Skinner for doing the team a huge favor. Zemgus, Miller or Borgen is probably the pick now 7 Quote

bob_sauve28 Posted July 14, 2021 Report Posted July 14, 2021 Good team move. No way Seattle puts that millstone around their neck. We can keep Borgen now. Risto won't be taken Quote

DarthEbriate Posted July 14, 2021 Report Posted July 14, 2021 --Whoa! That got him. ++I see you, Wedge Jeff. Good work. Asplund, Thompson, and Bjork are all safe. (Alternately, this frees up a spot for protecting an acquired piece via trade.) 2 Quote
