Saber61 Posted October 5, 2005 Report Posted October 5, 2005 ya the least you think pyatt could do would be fight with his size... but he's just a girly boy thats soft and makes no effort! argh... hope for an injury to 1 of the 2.
Guest Kristian Posted October 5, 2005 Report Posted October 5, 2005 Connolly deserves a boot in the keyster, and a one-way ticket to Rochester. 20 games, you say? Why? He's had all the chances in the world to prove himself, and he's failed miserably. That goes for that other waste of a roster spot they call Pyatt. These two belong on a bus out of Buffalo, not on the bench.

shrader Posted October 5, 2005 Report Posted October 5, 2005 Why does Connolly deserve 20 games? Pyatt for that matter? Isn't a little strange how these two get chance after chance, continue to fail, and get more chances. While players like Roy, Bartovic and Kotilik get the boot evey time they make one mistake. IF the game opens up, Connolly could be a good asset. He also deserves more of a shot than Pyatt does. He didn't fall flat on his face last season like Pyatt did, due to the concussion.

It's not a question of deserving or not deserving. From the day we got Connolly and Pyatt they could not be sent down without clearing waiers, wich they wouldn't. Just like if Roy had to clear waivers now there is no way he would have been sent down, because chances of him not getting picked up I would think are zero. I know it don't seem fair that Connolly and Pyatt are with the big club and Roy isn't, but under the circumstances it's the best move for the club to make. At least for now.
