Stoner Posted June 16, 2021 Report Posted June 16, 2021 It's almost like you guys forgot how sneaky hockey players are. You think Point would have slammed his own goalie like that, all things being equal? Quote

When that happens at that speed you can’t control your direction. Quote

Hoss Posted June 16, 2021 Report Posted June 16, 2021 Just saw the Lightning had seven dudes on the ice for their second goal, yikes Quote
Pimlach Posted June 16, 2021 Report Posted June 16, 2021 Great game tonight. The Lightning show they will fight. I didn’t like the Zajack and Cirelli fight - with gloves on and sticks in theirs hands. Looked odd to me, like two guys that don’t fight fighting. Quote

But given Tampa's entire game plan is built around pick plays and the refs don't give a ***** what else is new? Quote

Technically a penalty but practically they didn’t make a difference. Quote

So in an NFL game if one of the blockers on the other side from the play clotheslines a defensive player it's perfectly fine because it didn't affect the play? 1 Quote

No, just like he said, it would technically still be a penalty, but wouldn't affect the outcome of the play. In both cases, it should be called (rules are rules), but not because it actually gave the team an actual unfair advantage. It's unfortunate when something like that is missed. However, there are cases where missed calls actually affect the outcome, which is unfair. Quote

So you equate an attempt to injure with an extra player skating to the bench. 🙄 Quote

There was a player involved in the offense who shouldn’t have been because he should have still been on the bench until his teammate came off. Quote

Shea Weber is so solid back there, he controls the flow of the game. Edited June 17, 2021 by Pimlach 2 Quote
