KC Scouts Posted June 23, 2021 Report Posted June 23, 2021 Canadiens are frustrating Vegas at every turn. Vegas forwards should all have their media head shots put on the backs of milk cartons since they are “missing” …..😜 Quote
Gatorman0519 Posted June 23, 2021 Report Posted June 23, 2021 Good for MTL. They play a great team game. 4 Quote
sabrefanday1 Posted June 23, 2021 Report Posted June 23, 2021 Isles look like they may be finally out of gas. Amazing how well they gave done. And Montreal beating Vegas in crucial game 4 4-1 is just crazy! 1 Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted June 23, 2021 Report Posted June 23, 2021 The Knights had a little push back in the 3rd, but any chance they had was thwarted by Price. The first 2 periods were 100% Habs, I honestly was surprised. Quote
Sabres Fan in NS Posted June 23, 2021 Report Posted June 23, 2021 I am of the belief that a key pickup at the deadline was none other than Eric Staal. He has played well and the Montreal centres are playing a lot better than the Vegas centres. Another thing is Price is playing the best hockey of his career right now and Vegas has what I would call a goaltender controversy on their hands. One last thing ... give me Shea Weber, or a reasonable close match, every day. And one other last thing ... their head coach (who I know can't be behind the bench right now) is a fantastic coach and a great strategist. He is the type of coach these Sabres need. He also knows how the get the most out of young players. GO HABS!! 1 Quote
Taro T Posted June 23, 2021 Report Posted June 23, 2021 Presumably Lehner gets the net in game 6. Should the Habs pull this off, there's going to be ridiculous levels of second guessing the decision to go back to Fleury for game 5. (And, yes, overall he played well, but that 1st 1 was soft and that was the one that really mattered.) 1 Quote
Gatorman0519 Posted June 23, 2021 Report Posted June 23, 2021 (edited) The top 4 D of MTL alongside an elite goalie with responsible, fast, hardworking forwards, makes me hope the Sabres grab Powers all the more and some similar forwards like Suzuki, Gallagher and Danault. Thorner Posted June 24, 2021 Report Posted June 24, 2021 Good strategy by the Islanders. If you can't beat em, just blatantly injure Kucherov with a cross check Point is unstoppable. Conn Smythe favourite Quote
French Collection Posted June 24, 2021 Report Posted June 24, 2021 Point is shooting at 32% according to HNIC. Quote
Claude Balls Posted June 24, 2021 Report Posted June 24, 2021 Maybe one day again, the Sabres will be fun to watch. 2 Quote

Conn Smythe favourite Wouldn't it be something if Point ties Leach's record of goals in 10 consecutive playoff games & wins the Conn Smythe like Reggie did, but yet he suffers the same fate of losing to the Habs in the Finals? 1 Quote
Torpedo Forecheck Posted June 24, 2021 Report Posted June 24, 2021 How many ***** vicious cross checks will the refs allow by Mayfield? 1 Quote

sabremike Posted June 24, 2021 Report Posted June 24, 2021 (edited) Remember how Tampa ended Sobotka's career and then left Dahlin in a pool of his own blood? Yeah, ***** Tampa. Edited June 24, 2021 by sabremike 2 Quote
Pimlach Posted June 24, 2021 Report Posted June 24, 2021 Nice!!! Islanders stay alive. I like it. Quote

pastajoe Posted June 24, 2021 Report Posted June 24, 2021 What a crap play, passing in front of the net in OT. Tampa had a chance to rest up and blew it. Quote
