So do Peterka and Rousek join the Amerks this season?  Adding those two to Weissbach and the Amerks would have a ton of speed and excitement coming in.

Peterka would probably benefit from one more season in Germany

You might be right, but I want him here. Hope he can prove he's ready in camp.

There's space for him on the team. He'll be 20 in January and he's advanced enough that I don't think he'll be damaged.

EDIT: By here, I mean the Amerks. I don't see him in Buffalo.

I love the kid as a prospect, I feel bad for Him that He is a Sabres Prospect

For reasons unbeknownst to me, I’m holding out hope that things start going in the other direction.

I'm taking this attitude as well. I hate hating my favorite team. I want to love it again.

I also wouldn't mind a young exciting team to root for in Rochester in the mean time.

It's not a cop out. It's a very reasonable response. As evidenced by our prospects its one step at a time. The right way is to earn your way up the ladder based on performance.

If we hire the right coach, things could change, we do have quite a few high draft picks in the system .  Trading our top players may prolong the agony a bit longer before we see that hope realized though.  Getting a few goalies would really help.

I don't. I love his attitude and hope he's as good as we think he might be. Then I want him and Cousins and Power (?) and whoever else to collectively lead this team.

They've certainly started adding a different breed of player.

I don't think the Sabres have had issues regarding bringing in players who have a good attitude.
