How would you compare Nemec to Teppo? Not just mid 30s Sabres Teppo but younger Jets Teppo that was also more offensively inclined. If Nemec compares favourably to that Teppo then he would be a huge get for this backend.

I have no idea how we could do this.

Sorry, I wasn’t asking for a numerical deep dive, just your opinion. Buffalo Teppo was so calm and smart and efficient. Winnipeg Teppo was all that but also had  more offensive side in his younger days. I was asking if that is a good comparison for Nemec’s game as I haven’t watched him very much.

I don't know how to compare Nemec to Teppo in Winnipeg because I didn't watch him there and it's hard to remember that far back, I don't have a good reference to do it.

Nemec is smart in the offensive zone and has the agility you want. His skating quickness will only get better I think and it's good now. His biggest issue is gap control and giving up the blueline too often. Outside of that he's pretty solid and his passing and play making might not be exciting but it's efficient.

That’s Grant McCagg.

His prospect ranking is suspect at best, The Criteria for a High Ranking is they have to be drafted by Montreal

Never heard of that organization.  What a terrible name.

Not happy seeing Jiricek in the top 4 or 5 in a lot of these newer lists.

Don't these people know when a guy gets injured he's supposed to drop, not rise?

(Really think he's the guy this kid would like to see 'em get if they don't have one of the 2 lottery wins.)

Jiricek has a style I think a lot here would like.

That said, Shane Wright woke up and discovered he is good.

In 2023 news, Bedard has 23pts including 10 goals in his last 9 games

Very forward heavy. One D in the top ten.

Very much hope the plan calls for/results in the focus being on closer to ~ pick 12-16, or away from the pick as the main priority, in totality

Yes, not scouring draft lists in December would be a welcome change.

This board discussing playoff matchups would be fun.
