This is where our entire team suffers. Asplund just had time to slaughter Fox. Didn't even touch him... and Fox was able to make an easy, uncontested pass, because he knew none of our forwards will finish a hard check. Fox should have been buried there.

Just a height thing is all.

UPL looks quick moving laterally.

I agree. You have to be physical with great defensemen to slow them down a little. Teams do it all the time to Dahlin.

The great ones roll off checks and keep making plays and that's fine but level the check!

He's moving so much better tonight. Against Boston he was overplaying it, likely from nerves. Moving very efficiently tonight.

Agree.....at some point he returns to Rochester, but I would not be surprised if his games remains elevated in the AHL (vs. before his call-up).  The Amerks are pretty rough right now, but  maybe he can maintain an NHL form down there.

Between falling down multiple times, and that pesky scoring thing ... I’m just growing tired of Reinhart. Oh and he never goes in the “dirty” areas 😂

That's only the seventh time in franchise history that the Sabres have scored in the final 10 seconds of the second period on the road to tie the game at 1 on a power play.

Pretty sure Dahlin took the team lead in assists.

But it's credited to Mittelstadt right now

I don't see Dahlin getting an assist on the play. The puck was knocked off his stick by a Rangers player and then Reinhart got it to Mittelstadt who returned the puck to Samson for the goal.
