Sorry, but at this point ... get the best chance to get the best player in the draft ...

The youngsters experiencing success is far more important than the draft.

Agree with this statement. How much success is enough?

Is 5-2 much more important than 3-4 to close out? Because that's probably the difference between have the first seed in the draft or the 4th.

At this point. AT THIS POINT. 2, 3, 4 wins to close out the season absolutely won’t “develop” the youngsters sooo much more where it’s super vital and a must do! IMO. That’s like thinking Dahlin was ZOMG ruined for life by RK while RK was coaching him for what? Less than 100 games?

Lose out. Get a better chance at the draft.

make no mistake… I’ll be happy if they win… Because I’m a Sabres fan. but I would prefer a loss at this point. At This Point.

I don't care where they pick and I hope they trade the pick, whatever it is.  This isn't the 2014 draft class.

Moist Loins

Rags ... 5

Sabres ... 2

Cozens, R2, or Risto with a goal

Since that's worked so well for us the past....decade.

Even if Buffalo goes .500 for the remaining 7 games and all the other bottom feeders lose out we'd still draft top 3.

Nope. We're only 2 back of Anaheim and New Jersey and Seattle gets the 3rd seed.

We'd enter the lottery picking 4th.

it is absolutely crazy to think we had that forever-winless streak and yet both NJ & Anaheim are only a few points ahead of us???That almost seems impossible. For sure we do not want to go into the lottery (we know how that works out every time)

New Jersey is in free fall right now. They had 9 regulation losses in a row, only broken by an OTL against Philly. WTF Lindy.

Lindy must be losing his marbles over there in NJ...hell he use to lose his mind a ton here when we were good!

They were close to free fall when the Sabres were as well.  The game that finally broke the back regarding Krueger's tenure was when the Devils snapped an 11 game home losing streak.

That is a very bad hockey team.

Can Seattle win the lottery?

99% certain they can.  As others have stated, they enter the lottery in the #3 slot.  So, they'll end up in the top 5 regardless of how the balls bounce.
