Yup, good luck UPL!

Isn't Tuukka Rask a UFA after the season? Hmmmm...

Age 34

Recent concussion

makes 7mil now

I bet he re-signs with the Bruins for another 2 years. Even if it’s at a lower cap hit.

They have those two young goaltenders and the Bruins, unlike us, are willing to let players walk to UFA.

He will have high demand, I'd imagine.

Milquetoast means timid so my little brain thought a timid womanizer would be quite chuckle inducing. If I have failed to elicit the aforementioned chuckles, then mea culpa

I'm just going to call him by his name Ukko-Pekka, Ukko Ukko, Ukko-Pekka Ukko Ukko ahhhhh, aha aha ha. I can't stop this feeling!

(you'll thank me later)

I Luukkonen feeling! I'm high on believing! In three years you'll be a great goalie...

Well... this should be interesting.

But right now the Sabres cannot solve the Bruins, so it doesn't matter.

Yup.  The Bruins appear to be a worst case matchup for Buffalo.  It’s like the 1980s all over again, without the 1st round disappointment.

This is the one we have a chance to win. Slim, but a chance. Bruins will be over confident. Bruins are old. Young legs and energy can come at them fast and if we can score early we have a chance. UPL has to, of course, surprise for that possibility, but why not?

Effectively yes, both them and the Isles would fall into this category.

Both are strategy wise defensively skewed who play extremely physical and run heavy forechecks. Both are also made up mainly of vet players with youngsters slowly making their way through the ranks. Neither make many mistakes thus depriving us of our ability to get a few free offensive opportunities. Our team thrives on other team's mistakes and lighter and looser play which is the antithesis of Bruin or Isles hockey.
