They came together as a team and played much more physical. Something that Boston does year in and year out. I could not envision watching a non physical Boston team. They did add a puncher. I will die on this hill. I am 100% with you on this but you also can not have guys like 23 disappear every time they play the Bruins. Quote
Pimlach Posted April 23, 2021 Report Posted April 23, 2021 Another PP. we need to cash in. Come on shoot the damm puck. 1 Quote
DarthEbriate Posted April 23, 2021 Report Posted April 23, 2021 One thing to say about this team... (very un-RaKru of them) ... they are forcing Boston to take penalties. Now... start scoring on them! 1 Quote
Claude Balls Posted April 23, 2021 Report Posted April 23, 2021 The refs are like, keep calling penalties on Boston, the Sabres won't score anyways, and we'll look like we don't favor the Bruins. This PP is ***** pathetic. Quote
KC Scouts Posted April 23, 2021 Report Posted April 23, 2021 Power Play.....The big difference Sammy playing where Jack should be.....Sammy is not Jack when it comes to passing/distributing Quote
Carmel Corn Posted April 23, 2021 Report Posted April 23, 2021 (edited) Sorry, but I'm starting to think Donny doesn't have an answer to improve the PP. Too much standing around relying on perfectly threaded passes between defenders....they have to MOVE or else they're too easy to defend against. Edited April 23, 2021 by Carmel Corn Quote

DarthEbriate Posted April 23, 2021 Report Posted April 23, 2021 Dahlin with the blind and intentionally angled stick. That's nice. 1 Quote

It needs to be completely redesigned when Eichel is not there. Sam is good, but not as good as Eichel at distributing the puck. This is partly because he has not been a centre for long. Quote

He's got the same answer the RaKru, and the other guy, and the other guy had --- Eichel. But that answer is missing. Quote

The refs are gifting this game to Buffalo. Apparently they are more into giving than receiving. I’ve been watching the NHL since the 60’s. There has not been a non-physical Boston Team in that time. If they even showed signs of non physicality the front office made adjustments. It’s very much a team first culture and everyone plays for their teammates. Edited April 23, 2021 by Pimlach 2 1 Quote
Claude Balls Posted April 23, 2021 Report Posted April 23, 2021 The Sabres had like what, 14 PP's that period? Wtf Quote

Randall Flagg Posted April 23, 2021 Report Posted April 23, 2021 Reinhart and Reesto have been noticeably bad to me tonight, though Risto had some good passes on that power play Quote
